High School Graduation Requirements

23.5   Minimum number of credits for graduation:
4 credits English Language Arts
3 credits Mathematics
3 credits Science
3 credits Social Studies
1.5 credits Physical Education
0.5 credits Health
8.5 credits Elective Courses
Citizenship Assessment

All Fees need to be paid and school materials need to be turned in before the graduate can walk across the stage or receive their diploma.  Checks will only be accepted to pay fees up until May 19, 2017.  After that date only Cash will be accepted to pay fees.

CAP & GOWN ORDERING
A Jostens representative will present cap and gown ordering information during CAP time on Monday, November 28.
Orders will be collected on Wednesday, December 7 and Friday, December 9.

Graduation

Date: Saturday, June 10, 2017
Place: West Allis Central High School Field House
Time: 3:00 pm, doors open to families 2:00 pm
***Students report no later than 1:30***

Tickets: Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for the
ceremony

Students must participate in rehersal to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Graduation rehersal is June 8th at 11:00 in cafeteria.

Students will receive an empty diploma cover and will need to pick up the official diploma after the ceremony.

Students choosing not to walk at graduation can pick up their diplomas the Monday after graduation.

Empire Photography 608-257-2941 will be taking photos as the students walk the stage.  Parents will not be able to walk around to take photots.

Attire for Graduation

Ladies must wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants and a blouse with dress shoes. NO shorts, jeans, flip flops, tennis shoes, sun glasses or cell phones.
Gentlemen must wear dress pants, a collared shirt, and dress shoes. NO shorts, jeans, flip flops, tennis shoes, sun glasses or cell phones.

Senior Pictures

Please make sure to have your senior pictures taken this summer to ensure that your desired picture will be included in the 2016-2017 yearbook. Senior photos submitted for the yearbook may be head shots or body shots. However, body shots may be cropped significantly to fit the standard frame. All photos must be in portrait format, but may not include props, hats, or suggestive/inappropriate clothing.

Senior pictures for the yearbook must be submitted by November 4th, 2016 (no later than 3:15 PM).
