High School Graduation Requirements

24   Minimum number of credits for graduation:
4 credits English Language Arts
3 credits Mathematics
3 credits Science
3 credits Social Studies
1.5 credits Physical Education
0.5 credit Health
0.5 credit Personal Finance or Independent Living
8.5 credits Elective Courses
Citizenship Assessment

School Fees
All Fees need to be paid and school materials need to be turned in before the graduate can walk across the stage and/or receive their diploma. Any late fee payments made after this date must be paid in CASH. 

Cap and Gown Ordering

A Jostens representative will present cap and gown ordering information during CAP time.
Orders will be collected.

Graduation Practice: Friday, July 10 @ 9:00 am
Date: Saturday, July 11, 2020
Place: West Allis Central High School Field House
Time: 11:00 am, doors open to families 10:30 am

Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for the ceremony, we are sorry additional tickets are not available. You will not be able to enter the Fieldhouse without a ticket.

Graduation Ceremony
Students must participate in rehearsal to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Students will receive an empty diploma cover and will need to pick up the official diploma after the ceremony.

Students choosing not to walk at graduation can pick up their diplomas the Thursday after graduation.

Empire Photography 
608-257-2941 will be taking photos as the students walk the stage. Parents will not be able to walk around to take photos.

Attire for Graduation
Ladies must wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants and a blouse with dress shoes. NO shorts, jeans, flip flops, tennis shoes, sun glasses or cell phones.

Gentlemen must wear dress pants, a collared shirt, and dress shoes. NO shorts, jeans, flip flops, tennis shoes, sun glasses or cell phones.

Failure to comply may result in not being able to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Any Cap Decorations must be approved by Administration prior to the Graduation Ceremony by Administration.

Senior Pictures
Please make sure to have your senior pictures taken this summer to ensure that your desired picture will be included in the yearbook. Senior photos submitted for the yearbook may be head shots or body shots. However, body shots may be cropped significantly to fit the standard frame. All photos must be in portrait format, but may not include props, hats, or suggestive/inappropriate clothing.

All photos need to be submitted digitally.
