Philosophy

Our goal is to continue to grow as educators and create opportunities for students after high school, with an emphasis on college and career readiness.  Education is a lifelong learning process that doesn't have a superficial finish line at high school, college, or beyond.  It is never too late to achieve success academically or socially-emotionally with a student.  Recent research has shown that the brain is highly malleable until 27 years-old, putting all students within range for that growth.  At West Allis Central we have to establish high quality educators for our students, as the largest impact on our students growth is contingent on an instructor and the supporting staff.

Education

  • UW-Milwaukee, Bachelors of Science in Broadfield Social Studies, Economics, Political Science, and Psychology

  • UW-Milwaukee, Masters in Educational Leadership and Director of Instruction

History

I have been a Wisconsin educator since 2013, spending a majority of my career at Bradford High School in Kenosha, starting as a Social Studies teacher, and later as a Dean of Students. During that time I was also on the Instructional Leadership Team, where we worked on improving and implementing curriculum in the classroom.

With free time I enjoy playing golf, running, and spending time with my family located in Milwaukee. This includes my brother, sister-in-law, my three nieces and my wife.  My wife and I love to travel every opportunity we can, including exploring new cultures, both foreign and domestic.
