People learn in different ways - we have various learning styles, learning strengths, abilities, and interests. We also learn in fundamentally similar ways - we need to find meaning and make sense of what we study. We learn best from work that demands we stretch ourselves, but does not intimidate us.  My work at West Allis Central High School will recognize that everyone has unique traditions, values, and beliefs that are important to them (ethnic identity, language, religion and formal/informal community, neighborhood, and family connections).  I will respect, honor and use those unique perspectives as assets to our community, school and individuals helping each reach its fullest potential.

I have been serving students and families in public schools for thirty years.  I started as a teacher of students with special needs in Milwaukee Public Schools teaching at both middle and high school.  I moved into leadership as a Diagnostic Teacher in Special Education serving PK-12 students then entered school leadership as an Assistant Principal at Vincent High School.  I have served as a Principal in the School District of West Allis West Milwaukee since 2007.  I take pride in the work I do to connect with students and families to support positive and productive educational experiences.  I have been instrumental in developing new leaders that serve across our district.  I hope to bring a new level of success and respect to West Allis Central High School, its staff and students.
