Philosophy

I believe that all students can learn and be successful when supported properly in the right environment.  It is our jobs as educators to ensure that students learn and grow while feeling cared for.  All students must feel that they are important and their differences make them special.  We need to learn from one another while expecting the best from ourselves.  It is important that we are consistent for students with high expectations while serving them as they prepare for life after high school.

History

I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and went to Penn State for business.  I joined the Air Force Reserves while in college and served a short tour in Kirkuk, Iraq after graduation.  I worked in Corporate America for a few years before starting to teach.  I initially taught middle school English but have also taught Algebra.  I have served in school leadership roles in private, charter, and public partnership schools in the city of Milwaukee including Grandview High School and Carmen Northwest.   I am a big sports fan, enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and I customize sneakers as a hobby.  I am married with a daughter named Lucy.
